HAWA Engineering P.C. is a licensed structural engineering, architecture, and inspection firm approaching its twenty-fifth year of practice across the tri-state area.

Our work spans the full range of the region's building stock, from single-family homes on Long Island to commercial developments and high-rise towers in Manhattan, and the same documentation and oversight applies whatever the size of the job. Inspection, design, filing, and construction administration are handled by the same team, so a project does not change hands as it moves from identifying a problem to resolving it.

What distinguishes the practice is where our people come from. Our principal, Waseem Hakeem, P.E., brings over twenty-five years of experience on New York City projects, and he and several senior staff came up through construction before moving to the design side. That background shapes what we draw: we know how a repair gets sequenced, what a scope will demand of a contractor, and which details survive contact with a jobsite.

It also shapes how the work is run. Our principal reviews every project personally, from the first inspection through the final filing, so clients deal directly with the licensed professional accountable for it.
